Marve was a freshman, has alot of talent, and with some coaching its hard to say how good he good be. You just never know. He wasnt ready to be thrown to the wolves, most freshmen arent. Its pretty obvious that Kiffin is saying Boyd cant do what we want him to do whereas Marve at least has the skill set to do what they want him to do. I just cant believe you dont see that. Comparing Boyd to Marve is like comparing Tommy Frazier to Troy Aikman. Even if they were both evenly great, Aikman is the one that fits into Kiffin's system. you said yourself it's hard to say how good he could be...same goes for Tahj Boyd...neither QB will help next year, that's a given...but with Boyd you have 4 years to bring him along, and while he is learning the QB aspects he can make plays with his legs...whereas Marve is gonna need a good O-Line and will only have 2 years

you act like Boyd can't throw either...it's called "dual-threat", not "running qb"
